TANNER BURNS NAMED A FINALIST IN TRACTOR RESTORATION COMPETITION

Woodford Oil congratulates Tanner Burns, who was named a finalist in this year’s Chevron Delo Tractor Restoration Competition!

Tanner, a senior at Tucker County High School, did a fantastic job restoring a 1968 International Harvester Farmall 544 tractor.

Woodford was pleased to support Tanner by contributing all the petroleum fluids for the restoration, including motor oil, hydraulic/transmission fluids and chassis grease.

In recognition of Tanner’s hard work, Woodford also presented Tanner with a $1,000 scholarship to attend the technical school of his choice. Tanner’s goal is to learn how to operate and repair heavy equipment. Pictured here are: (L-R): Tanner and Darroll Talbott, Woodford VP of Sales and Marketing.

The next step for Tanner is to compete against 11 other finalists next month at the National Future Farmers of America Convention & Expo in Indianapolis, IN.

Members of the public can also visit the competition website and vote for their favorite restoration video. The voting ends on October 20, so check out and vote for Tanner’s video today!
